Prodigy Pet Adventures Cartoon Series

The Brief: Get kids hyped on the lore behind Prodigy Math and it’s story lines and characters so they feel more connected and want to play more.

The Idea: When you first begin playing Prodigy you get to choose a starter pet! One of 5 adorable creatures who will help you on your math quest. We wanted to bring the personalities of these pets to life with “day in the life” style episodes. Each one resulted in team work because that’s the only way to make the dream work! 

My Role: Creative Director, Writer, Art Director
Working alongside our internal lore expert, I helped to develop this series from the ground up. From collaborating on the idea for the series, to the format of the episodes, and finally script writing, I was core to its development.
From there, we worked with an incredible animation company called Pigeon Studio, and together we developed everything from the look and feel of the Prodigy cartoon universe, to the characters, to the animation style and sound design.
The Result: 4.6 million views and a noticeable uptick in students returning to the game to specifically rescue more pets.
